Robert Allen Zimmerman, AKA, Bob Dylan was born in May 24, 1941. He is an American singer-songwriter, artist and writer, and Nobel laureate and he is one of the best-selling artists of all time. Today he received the Nobel Prize in Literature "for having created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition".

Nobel Prize in Literature is one of the five Nobel Prizes established by the will of Swedish Alfred Nobel in 1895, and has been awarded annually to an author from any country who has produced "in the field of literature the most outstanding work in an ideal direction" (original Swedish: den som inom litteraturen har producerat det mest framstående verket i en idealisk riktning).
